Furniture Job Cost Types Parameters
When creating furniture projects, you can determine how much a particular job costs. The Job Costing feature lets you estimate how much labor cost needs to be added to a project. Use this box to set up parameters for job cost types. You can assign job cost types to a salesperson in the Salesperson database. You can set up job cost types to bill in intervals of a tenth of an hour, quarter hour, half hour, or an hour. For more information, see Job Costing.

From the Parameter Editor window, double-click Furniture.
Double-click Job Cost Types.
The Job Cost Types dialog box opens. In this box, you can add, change, or delete job cost types.
To add a job cost type, press the Space Bar or click
. Click any box name in the following list for information about the box.

Comm Code
Non Comm Code
To delete a job cost type, highlight the line and click
.
To select an uncataloged item, click
. See In the Order Entry Uncataloged Item Information Dialog Box for information on the boxes in this dialog box.
Close the Job Cost Types dialog box by clicking
.
Job Cost Types now appears in bold in the Parameter Editor window. Click
to save your changes or when you exit the Parameters screens, you are prompted to save your changes.
Note: To abandon all changes, click
. It lets you restore the previously saved version without exiting the Parameter Editor window.
