Deleting (L7) Screen Lines and Entire Tables

From the Keyop Menu, double-click

In the Parameter Editor window, click Text Base Parameters.
The (L) Parameters screen opens. Select the [7] Compensation action code.
The Compensation or Level Parameters prompt appears. Type C.
The system displays the (L7) screen, and the cursor moves to the action code field. Select the [D] Delete action code.
The cursor moves to the G/L Loc field. This field defaults to location 1. Press Tab to accept the default location, or enter the location for which to delete compensation tables.
The cursor moves to the Slsm field. At this point, you can delete the global compensation table, specify a range of salespersons, or specify a specific salesperson.
To delete the global compensation table, tab through the Slsm field and the corresponding To field to leave them blank.
To delete a compensation table for a range of salespersons, enter the first salesperson number in the Slsm field, and the last salesperson number in the corresponding To field.
To delete a compensation table for a specific salesperson, enter that salesperson number in the first field and press Enter.
Note: If you specify salesperson numbers for which no table exists, the No Table for [xxxx] to [xxxx] message appears. (The xxxx in this message is replaced by the salesperson numbers you specified.) The cursor returns to the action code field so that you can begin again.
At the Delete ALL Tables message, you can delete all the tables for the specified salespeople, all the lines in a table, or specific lines from a table.
Type Y to delete all tables for the salesperson numbers specified. The system briefly displays the tables you deleted. Go to Step 10.
Type N (default) to skip deleting all tables for the salesperson numbers specified. Go to Step 9.
If you specify N at the Delete All Tables message, you can specify whether to delete lines from a specific table or delete the entire table. The system displays the customer status numbers and pay code for the first compensation table for the salesperson range you specified, and the cursor moves to the first Customer Status field. Enter the range of customer status codes for the table from which to delete lines. To skip these fields, press Tab.
In the Paycode field, enter the pay code for the table from which to delete lines. If no specific pay code is assigned to the table, press Tab.
After you specify the pay code, you can begin deleting all the lines from a table or delete specific lines from a table.
If you specified an existing customer status and salesperson range, the system displays the Delete ALL Lines for Cust. Status [X] to [Y] Paycode [Z] message. At this point, you can delete all the lines in a table with the status and salesperson range you specified or delete specific lines. To delete ALL lines on the table, type Y at this message. To delete only specific lines, type N. For details on deleting specific lines, see the following bullet.
If you specified a customer status range that does not apply to a table with the salesperson range you specified or typed N at the Delete ALL Lines message, the system displays the first line of the table you specified, along with the Delete this Line message. At this point you can delete the displayed line. To do so, type Y. The system deletes the line, displays the next line in the table, and repeats the Delete This Line message. You can continue to delete as many lines as necessary.
When you finish deleting tables and lines, the cursor returns to the action code field.
