Compiler Utilities
The compiler utilities help you work with programs. Many of the functions available in the (Z) screen are no longer applicable. In the Compiler Utilities portion of the screen, the following functions are available:
[B4] Execute Program. This function is used to execute programs that cannot be executed from the Master Menu.
[B6] Execute Proc File. You use this function to execute procedure files. Through this function, you can run diagnostic programs, modify inventory files, renumber your customer database, and search word processing files for specific words or phrases, among other functions.
Procedure files can also be executed using the [J] Execute a Proc function in the (M) Operational Procedures screen. For instructions on executing a procedure file in the (M) screen, see Operational Procedures.
