Daily Procedures

If you use separate computers for your main location and your remote sites, you may want to put your remote site’s daily activity information on your main system. This allows the master location to always be abreast of each remote’s business.

Before the master can be updated, the files must be transmitted from the remote site and received by the master site. You can transmit and receive files through the (+T) Enhanced Terminal Communications screen. You only update the master location through the (M) Operational Procedures screen.

When updating the master location from the remote location, each site must perform procedures separately. For example, the remote location must do each day-end procedure step, up to the (MA) procedure, before transmitting its files. The master location must receive these files before doing any day-end procedures.
