Changing an Item
Double-click
. The Item window opens, displaying information for the last item selected.
Tip: Click the Location box and enter the location for the item, if it is not already displayed. If the Location box is not displayed in the toolbar, right-click the toolbar and select Location.
Select the item to change. If you need instructions, see Selecting an Item.
Click the tab that contains the information to change.
Warning: If you try to change the information in the key boxes ( Number box and Company box in the Item Master tab), an attempt is made to add a new item. To add a new item, go to Adding an Item.
Click each box to change, highlight the current information and enter the new information over the highlighted information. For instructions, see Item Window Definitions.
Note: If you are changing information in a search box ( Number, Company, Description or UPC Code), do not press Enter after typing or a search is initiated for the information you typed. Click the next box to change and repeat step 4 or go to step 5.
After you make all the changes, click
to save your changes.
