Adding a Manufacturer (Direct Buy)
Double-click
. The Item window opens, displaying information for the last item selected.
Tip: Click the Location box and enter the location for the item, if it is not already displayed. If the Location box is not displayed in the toolbar, right-click the toolbar and select Location.
Select the item for which to add a manufacturer. If you need instructions, see Selecting an Item.
Note: You can only add one manufacturer for each item. To change the manufacturer information, see Changing Item Vendor Information.
Click the Vendors tab.
Right-click anywhere in the list of vendors and click Add Manufacturer from the Context menu. The Add Manufacturer dialog box opens.
Complete the boxes in the Add Manufacturer dialog box.
Tip: The ID and Priority boxes are the only information you have to enter to add a manufacturer. However, DDMS recommends that you examine each of the other boxes to determine whether you need to complete them to suit your business needs.
Click Apply Changes when you have entered all the desired information in the boxes.
Click Exit to exit from the dialog box.
After you exit from the dialog box, you must click
to save the manufacturer.
