Special Functions in the President's Screens

  1. In the DDMS Master Menu, double-click graphics\G-LICON16.gif.

  2. In the General Ledger Menu, double-click graphics\PRESIDENTSICON16.gif.

  3. The (PD) President's Menu appears. Type 3 to select Reset Ytd Totals.

  4. If a password is set in the Special Functions Password field in the (PD1) President’s Parameter screen, the Enter Password prompt displays. Enter the password that is set in the Special Functions Password field. For more information, see Special Functions in the President's Screens.

  5. When you enter the correct password, or if no password is set, the Input Year prompt displays. Specify the year that you want to reset. For example, to reset files for the year 2000, you would specify 2000 in this field.

  6. When you specify the year, the cursor moves to the B = (A/R, A/P, Bank), S = Sales, X = All fields. In this field, specify which totals to reset: bank, sales, or both. To reset the bank totals for the specified year, type B. To reset the sales totals for the year specified, type S. To reset both the bank and sales totals for the year specified, type X.

  7. When you specify which totals to reset, the Are You Sure prompt appears. To reset the totals for the specified year, type Y.

  8. When the totals have been reset, the Refigure is Complete - Any Key to Continue message appears. Press Enter.
