Special Functions in the President's Screens
Editing Daily Totals
In the DDMS Master Menu, double-click

In the General Ledger Menu, double-click
.
The (PD) President's Menu displays. Type 4 to select Edit Daily Totals.
If a password is set in the Edit Totals Password field in the (PD1) President’s Parameter screen, the Enter Password prompt appears. Enter the password that is set in the Edit Totals Password field. For more information, see Special Functions in the President's Screens.
When you enter the correct password, if the Set Order Writer in Master Menu is set to N, the Enter Order Writer # prompt appears. Enter your order-writer number.
When you enter a valid order-writer number, the Input Which Screen to Edit A - D prompt appears. At this prompt, specify which of the President’s screens to change.
To change totals in the (PDA) President’s A/R Screen, type A. The (PDA) screen displays. Go to Step 7.
To change totals in the (PDB) President’s A/P Screen, type B. The (PDB) screen displays. Go to Step 7.
To change totals in the (PDC) President’s Sales Totals screen, type C. The (PDC) screen displays. Go to Step 7.
To change totals in the (PDD) President Bank Totals screen, type D. The (PDD) screen displays. Go to Step 7.
The cursor appears in the Daily field and the Input Date to Edit message appears at the bottom of the screen. In this field, specify the date to change.
When you specify the date, the cursor moves to the Location field and the Input Location to Edit message appears at the bottom of the screen. Specify the location for the totals to change. For example, to change daily totals in location 1, you would specify 01.
If you specify the date and location for which no records exists, the No Record for this Date and Loc Create prompt appears. To create a record for the date and location that you specified, type Y. To not create a record for the date and location that you specified, type N. The cursor returns to the Daily field so you can specify another date.
When you specify the date and location, the cursor moves to the first field in the Daily Column.
To move the cursor ahead one field, press Tab. To move the cursor back one field, press Backspace. You can enter any new totals over the existing totals. When you complete the changes, press Tab until the cursor moves through all the fields in the Daily Column, or press Enter.
When you move the cursor through every field in the Daily Column or press Enter, the Correct prompt appears. If any of the totals in the Daily Column are not correct, type N. The cursor returns to the first field in the Daily Column so you can make any corrections. If all the totals in the Daily Column are correct, type Y. The cursor returns to the Daily field. You can continue to make corrections by specifying another date.
After you complete the edits, you must reset the year-to-date totals. If you try to leave the (PD) screen without resetting the year-to-date totals, the You Must Reset Ytd Totals after Editing Reset Totals Now prompt appears. To not reset the year-to-date totals, type N. To reset the year-to-date totals, type Y.
