Auto Billing

  1. Double-click graphics\CUSTOMERICON16.gif. The Customer window opens, displaying the information for the last customer used.

  2. Select the customer account for which to change the auto bill account. If you need instructions, see Selecting a Customer.

  3. Click graphics\AUTOBILL-SMALL16.gif. The Auto Billing Items dialog box opens.

  4. Click the auto bill item to change.

  5. Click graphics\EDIT16.gif.

  6. Click the boxes you need to change or press Tab to move from one box to the next. Highlight the current information and enter the new information over the highlighted information. After you finish making the changes, click Apply. The new information appears in the Auto Billing Items dialog box. Click Close. Notes:  If you change the item number and company, an auto bill item account for the item you specify is automatically created. However, the original auto bill item account is deleted.

You cannot delete the fax number in the Fax # box by spacing through these boxes. If you space through an existing fax number, the number reappears the next time you retrieve the auto bill account. However, you can change the fax number. To remove the current fax number from an auto bill account, you must change it by entering another fax number over the existing fax number, or by entering zeroes over the existing fax number. If you change the fax number, the new fax number only applies to this auto bill item account, not every auto bill item account for this customer.

  1. In the Customer window, click graphics\SAVE-SMALL16.gif to save your changes.
