In the Same Day box, enter the inventory location normally used for the specified general ledger location (profit center). You can use this box to enter a secondary route for same day delivery service. For example, a delivery vehicle may act as a satellite location and deliver to the BLUE route. In this case, you could set up a secondary route with same day delivery service as BLU2. This expedites customers' orders.
Note: The same day route is also used when building a picking manifest. The program splits any orders that have a same day route to a separate manifest. In addition, the system also splits any orders that contain furniture items to a separate manifest.
When you finish, click
to add the new route.
