Accounts Receivable Basic Procedures

  1. Double-click graphics\AR_POST_ICON16.gif.

  2. Click the View menu. Click Customer Information.

  3. Add a customer as you normally would. For instructions, see Adding a Customer.

Note: To add a customer in Accounts Receivable, you must specify Y in the Add From B field in the (LA) Customer and A/R Parameters screen.

  1. When you finish, close the Customer window.

  2. To use the new customer in Accounts Receivable, enter the customer's information in the ID or Name boxes or click graphics\FIND_A_RECORD16.gif to open the Customer Query dialog box. For instructions, see Selecting a Customer in Accounts Receivable.
